Serge Pampfer

Serge Pampfer

Director

Thanks to his past as a researcher, which led to a doctorate in biological sciences at the University of Louvain and the University of Essen followed by a post-doctorate in molecular biology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York leading to the status of senior research fellow at the FNRS.

Serge brings an unbridled fascination with life sciences to the incubator. Each project is an opportunity to listen, understand and share with other scientists their enthusiasm and passion for invention and innovation. Serge has also been trained in the realities of business by working as scientific director of a Berlin start-up in the diagnosis of endometriosis and as an operating director of a Brussels spin-off in cellular therapy.

These positions now enable him to impart some wise advice to project initiators and company founders on the expectations and requirements of the industrial and financial world.

External specialists

In addition to the skills of our employees, we are also assisted by external consultants. A financial consultant, Vincent Dumont, whose role is to deal with the internal finances of WBC and certain legal aspects, applies his expertise to the supported projects and the internal management.

In order to communicate better, WBC is also assisted by a community manager, Marielle Botty,  who supervises our communications and the communications relating to the supported projects.

The last person whose skills we use is specialised in Facilities Management, Marc Delhaye, whose role is to facilitate the establishment of companies in existing premises and their fitting out.
